Document control for ISO 9001 and AS9100 shops.
How it works
Writing
Numbered steps, tables, pictures, and flowcharts drawn inside the procedure. Links to sections of other documents.
Review
A route you configure. The people who sign approve each change first, then sign; anyone added just to read it marks it read. Work waiting for someone shows in their “Waiting on you” list. Nobody is notified yet, and reviewers can’t comment in the draft yet.
Revisions
One revision in force. Superseded ones stay readable and marked. Obsolete ones drop out of search.
What Revari keeps track of
Most of it is ordinary rules that give the same answer every time. The AI runs only when someone asks it to.
A good librarian doesn’t decide what the books say. They know where each one is, which edition is current, what’s due for another look, and which references have broken. Revari does that for your procedures. Ask, and it will also draft a passage for you to keep or throw away.
- Every document has an owner, and a review date unless you decide it doesn’t need one. When a review is overdue, the document’s record says so.
- A link to another document can open the revision in force or one specific revision. A specific revision says plainly when it has been superseded.
- An edit that removes a section another document links to can’t be sent for review until the author confirms they’ve seen what it breaks.
- One page lists every broken cross-reference in your published documents, and why it broke.
Floor view
Search across published procedures, a light view for shop lighting, QR codes, and printing with the document number and revision on every sheet. Printed copies aren’t stamped uncontrolled yet.
The AI, and its limits
None of that needs AI. AI helps when someone asks, and it never changes a procedure on its own.
AI, when you ask
- Drafts a passage from your description. It arrives marked “not yet reviewed”, and the draft can’t be signed or published until a person accepts or discards it.
- Answers only from your published procedures. Each answer links to the sections it came from, an answer that can’t cite one isn’t shown, and if nothing fits, it says so. When it drafts, it’s told to leave a marked gap, like [torque value to be confirmed], rather than guess.
- Explains a passage a reader highlights.
What the AI can’t do
- Change a procedure on its own. Anything it writes arrives marked as not yet reviewed, and the draft can’t be signed or published until a person accepts or discards it.
- Rewrite what’s already there. It can add a proposal to a draft. It can’t change or delete a word anyone has written.
- Answer without a source. Every answer links to the sections it came from, and an answer that can’t is never shown.
- See more than you can. It reads only what the person asking is allowed to read.
- Approve, sign or publish. Those stay with people.
These limits are built into the software and checked automatically every time the code changes.
Where it stands
The software runs, and the whole cycle works end to end on the live system: writing a procedure, sending it for review, approving it change by change, signing, publishing, and checking the fingerprint chain.
